Claim of US Patent No. 9,907,210

1. A thermal regulation system for controlling fluid flow through an electronic device, the thermal regulation system comprising:
an active perforation layer having a plurality of active perforations thereon, wherein each active perforation defines a controllable
aperture, the active perforation layer comprising:

an elastomeric layer;
a substrate coupled to the elastomeric layer, wherein the substrate provides a fluid channel and at least one expandable reservoir
for each active perforation, and wherein the fluid channel has a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet; and

an operating fluid operatively connected with the fluid channel, wherein the operating fluid enters the fluid channel via
the fluid inlet to expand the expandable reservoir and exits the fluid channel via the fluid outlet.
