1. A backlight device, comprising:
a plurality of light sources that emit light of a plurality of light emission colors, each of the light sources emitting light
of a different light emission color;
a plurality of color sensors, each of the color sensors receiving mixed-color light emitted from the light sources to detect
light emission states of the light sources, the mixed-color light including a mixture of a component of each of the light
emission colors;
a temperature sensor that measures a temperature in a proximity of the plurality of light sources;
a brightness conversion unit that separates the mixed-color light to obtain a detection value for each component of the light
emission colors by converting values indicating the detected light emission states; and
a calculation unit that corrects the obtained detection value by using information indicating a relationship between the measured
temperature and a correction value, the calculation unit determining drive values for the light sources based on the corrected
detection value.
