Claim of US Patent No. 9,860,850

1. A method for transmit power control by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
receiving a random access response from an evolved Node B (eNB) sent in response to a random access channel preamble successfully
received by the eNB, the random access response comprising a transmit power control command; and

setting transmit power control for a first message transmitted on a physical uplink shared channel based, at least in part,
on the transmit power control command.
