Claim of US Patent No. 9,859,046

1. A high-strength superconducting cable comprising:
at least one high-strength alloy wire covered with at least two protective layers said high-strength alloy wire comprising
a plurality of filaments embedded in an Ag matrix, wherein a first protective layer is an Al2O3 passivation oxide layer and a second protective layer is a TiO2 non-reactive oxide layer; and

at least one superconducting wire coated with a protective layer wrapped together with said at least one high-strength alloy
wire to form said high-strength superconducting cable wherein said high-strength superconducting cable is treated with a heat
treatment cycle.
