Claim of US Patent No. 9,426,799

1. A method for determining enhanced physical downlink control channel (ePDCCH) resources, comprising:
determining number of symbols occupied by a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), number of common reference signal (CRS)
ports, number of demodulation reference signal (DMRS) ports and channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) configuration
in a subframe; and

determining resources available for transmitting an ePDCCH in a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) area of the subframe
according to the number of symbols occupied by the PDCCH, the number of CRS ports, the number of DMRS ports and the CSI-RS
configuration.
