Claim of US Patent No. 9,332,281

1. An image decoding apparatus comprising:
an intra-prediction unit configured to:
perform intra prediction on a first block based on reference pixels around the first block;
perform intra prediction, of the same intra prediction mode as that of the first block, on a second block adjacent to a right
side of the first block based on reference pixels around the second block comprising decoded pixels of the first block on
which intra prediction is performed;

perform intra prediction, of the same intra prediction mode as that of the first block, on a third block adjacent to a bottom
of the first block based on reference pixels around the third block comprising at least one decoded pixel of the first and
second blocks on which intra prediction is performed; and

perform intra prediction, of the same intra prediction mode as that of the first block, on a fourth block adjacent to a right
bottom of the first block based on reference pixels around the fourth block comprising at least one decoded pixel of the first
to third blocks on which intra prediction is performed,

wherein the first block, the second block, the third block, and the fourth block form a prediction block predicted corresponding
to one intra prediction mode, and

wherein the first block, the second block, the third block, and the fourth block are transform blocks on which intra prediction
is performed.
