1. A method of wireless communication at a relay user equipment (UE), comprising:receiving, on a downlink channel from a network entity, at least one indication including resource allocation information for at least one of the relay UE or a remote UE, wherein the resource allocation information corresponds to downlink control information (DCI) including a resource allocation for at least one of the relay UE or the remote UE at a first time value representing a subframe slot plus a first time variable associated with the resource allocation;
determining a second time variable such that the first time value plus the first time variable is equal to the second time value plus the second time variable; and
transmitting, on a sidelink channel to the remote UE, the resource allocation information of the remote UE, including transmitting the DCI as a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) as part of a sidelink shared channel (SL-SCH) data, wherein the DCI is transmitted at the second time value representing the subframe slot plus a second time variable less than the first time variable.
