Claim of US Patent No. 10,893,540

1. A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE), comprising:receiving, from a first base station, an indication of a set of component carriers for the UE to use to receive, from a second base station, a response to a first random access channel (RACH) transmission, wherein the set of component carriers include at least two quasi co-located component carriers transmitted by at least two antenna ports, the at least two quasi-co-located component carriers associated with a receive beam;
transmitting the first RACH transmission to the second base station; and
receiving, using one or more of the set of component carriers on the receive beam, the second RACH transmission responsive to the first RACH transmission.
