Claim of US Patent No. 10,694,522

1. A method for receiving an acknowledgement signal by a base station in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:transmitting information associated with transmission of a periodic channel quality indication (CQI) signal in an operating bandwidth;
receiving a dynamic acknowledgement signal by using a first frequency resource in response to transmission of a downlink data signal, wherein a resource block (RB) allocated for the dynamic acknowledgement signal is determined based on the transmitted information; and
receiving a periodic acknowledgement signal by using a second frequency resource in response to transmission of a downlink data signal, wherein the second frequency resource is allocated between the first frequency resource and a third frequency resource allocated for the periodic CQI signal.
