1. A method for receiving reference signals by a terminal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:receiving, from a base station, a control message configuring a plurality of channel state information (CSI) resource sets for a CSI reporting, wherein the plurality of CSI resource sets comprises a first resource set associated with a CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) resource for a channel measurement, a second resource set associated with a CSI-RS resource for an interference measurement, and a third resource set associated with a CSI interference measurement (CSI-IM) resource, and each of the first resource set, the second resource set, and the third resource set is set to periodic, aperiodic, or semi-static;
receiving, from the base station, reference signals according to the first resource set, the second resource set, and the third resource set;
generating a CSI for the CSI reporting based on the received reference signals; and
transmitting, to the base station, the CSI.
