1. A device comprising a processor to:receive information of a set of devices including at least one network device, wherein the received information of the set of devices includes an operating channel of each network device in the set of devices, a basic service set (BSS) color value of each network device in the set of devices, a received signal strength indication (RSSI) of each network device in the set of devices, and a number of active frames of each network device in the set of devices during a particular period;
estimate interferences for each available BSS color value of a plurality of available BSS color values in a specified channel, based on (i) an interference of each network device in the set of devices as a function of the RSSI and (ii) an active ratio during the particular period, wherein the active ratio of a particular network device in the set of devices is a ratio of the number of active frames of the particular network device and a number of active frames of all network devices working in the specified channel; and
select a BSS color value of the plurality of available BSS color values with an estimated interference lower than estimated interferences of others from the plurality of available BSS color values.
