Claim of US Patent No. 10,485,144

1. A computing device-implemented method comprising:receiving at least one triggering event signal at a processor of a heat recovery system, the heat recovery system having one or more components, the triggering event signal indicative of a demand for heat energy from at least one of a group consisting of a building system, a predictive load management algorithm, and a grid system;
selecting a computational workload assignment to be executed on one or more computational devices, the computational workload assignment when executed causing the one or more computational devices to generate heat, the computational workload assignment selected based in part on the demand for heat energy from an end use system and the expected heat generated by a computer system executing the computational workload assignment;
sending one or more command signals to the one or more computational devices, wherein the one or more command signals include a portion of the computational workload assignment for execution by the one or more computational devices; and
initiating capture of heat energy to be stored in one or more heat reservoirs, the heat energy being generated by the one or more computational devices based upon the computational workload assignment,
wherein the at least one triggering event signal includes information about grid system conditions and/or the one or more command signals are based on inputs relating to a status of the grid system.
