Claim of US Patent No. 10,485,048

1. A user equipment device (UE), comprising:at least one antenna;
at least one radio, wherein the at least one radio is configured to perform cellular communication using a first radio access technology (RAT);
one or more processors coupled to the at least one radio, wherein the one or more processors and the at least one radio are configured to perform voice and/or data communications;
wherein the one or more processors are configured to cause the UE to:
establish a first wireless link with a first cell according to the first RAT and a second wireless link with a second cell according to a second RAT, wherein the first cell operates in a first system bandwidth, and wherein the second cell operates in a second system bandwidth;
transmit a first indication that the UE supports uplink (UL) sharing for one or more of a first or second system bandwidths to one of a first or second cells, wherein the first and second system bandwidths are at least partially overlapping;
provide, to one of the first cell or the second cell, binary information indicating one of no retuning time needed and retuning time needed; and
receive, from one or more of the first or second cells, an allocation of first uplink resources associated with the first RAT and an allocation of second uplink resources associated with the second RAT, wherein the allocations correspond to using time division multiplexing (TDM) for uplink data transmissions for the first RAT and the second RAT according to the first and second uplink resources.
