Claim of US Patent No. 10,485,001

1. A method, comprising:receiving, by a processor of an apparatus, a frequency hopping pattern from a network node;
determining, by the processor, a frequency hopping location according to the frequency hopping pattern; and
performing, by the processor, an uplink grant-free transmission according to the frequency hopping position,
wherein the frequency hopping pattern comprises user equipment (UE) specific information, and
wherein the UE specific information comprises a UE identity (ID), or a group UE ID.
