Claim of US Patent No. 10,462,891

1. A crown for a plasma arc torch, the crown comprising:a body defining a distal end that is closest to a workpiece during an operation of the plasma arc torch and a proximal end opposite of the distal end, the distal end of the body disposed adjacent to and aligned with a proximal end of an electrode of the plasma arc torch;
at least one raised feature at the proximal end of the body, the raised feature adapted to depress a consumable sensor inside of the plasma arc torch to permit a flow of electrical current from a power supply; and
a surface of the body having one of (i) a depressed center to conduct the electrical current through the body, or (ii) an opening adapted to provide the electrical current to the electrode.
