Claim of US Patent No. 10,194,440

1. A method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE), comprising:determining, by the UE, an uplink channel raster for determining frequency location of an uplink channel over which to transmit uplink communications to a base station; and
transmitting, by the UE, uplink communications to the base station over the uplink channel,
wherein the uplink channel raster is shifted, in frequency, with respect to a legacy uplink channel raster of a legacy communication technology, wherein the uplink channel coexists with one or more uplink channels of the legacy communication technology in an uplink carrier.
