Claim of US Patent No. 10,142,988

1. A method of persistent resource allocation performed by a base station, the method comprising:transmitting, via a wireless radio frequency (RF) transmitter of the base station, a first RF wireless signal including persistent resource allocation information, the persistent resource allocation information including an indication of downlink (DL) persistent resources, a first identifier associated with a client station, an indication of a DL allocation period, an indication of uplink (UL) persistent resources, and an indication of an UL allocation period;
periodically transmitting a second series of RF wireless signals including DL user data, via the wireless RF transmitter of the base station to the client station associated with the first identifier, the second series of RF wireless signals being transmitted via the DL persistent resources and based on the DL allocation period, the DL persistent resources repeating at an interval defined by the DL allocation period; and
persistently receiving a third series of RF wireless signals including UL user data, via a wireless RF receiver of the base station, the third series of RF wireless signals being received via the UL persistent resources and based on the UL allocation period from the client station associated with the first identifier, the UL persistent resources repeating at an interval defined by the UL allocation period.
