g. a spectrum processing and control unit configured to receive electric signals representative of the spectra of the in-line part and reference parts from the spectrometer, to process the signals and to determine error signals that are sent to at least one feed controller;
h. at least one feed controller for each colorant, each feed controller configured to receive an error signal from the spectrum processing and control unit and to send it to a colorant feed controller; and
i. at least one colorant feed controller for each colorant, each colorant feed controller configured to adjust the concentration of the colorant base in the mixture of raw material fed to the product production machine by optimizing the rate at which the colorant is added to the raw material;
the system characterized in that each of the measurement heads comprises: (i) a first facet of an illumination optical fiber configured to conduct light from the one light source to a sample via the first optical network, wherein the sample is one of an in-line part and a reference part; and (ii) a first facet of a collection optical fiber configured to conduct light reflected from or transmitted through the sample to the spectrometer via the second optical network;
wherein the measurement head is characterized in that it comprises two crossed polarizers, a first of the crossed polarizers located at the first facet of illumination optical fiber and a second of the crossed polarizers located at the first facet of collection optical fiber; wherein each of the first and the second crossed polarizers is located near the focal point of one or a plurality of aspheric or spherical lenses when the collection optical fiber conducts light reflected from the sample or each of the first and the second crossed polarizers is respectively located near the focal point of one or two or a plurality of aspheric or spherical lenses when the collection optical fiber conducts light transmitted through the sample; the one lens or two lenses configured to collimate light emitted from the first facet of illumination optical fiber and to direct it onto the sample and to collect light reflected from or transmitted through the sample and to direct the collected or reflected light into the first facet of collection optical fiber.

setting the smaller value as the reduced maximum velocity of the industrial robot, the reduced maximum velocity being lower than the rated velocity, and
causing the industrial robot to transfer the workpiece at the reduced maximum velocity.

A gas separation unit for the separation of a first gas from a gas mixture containing said first gas as well as further gases different from the first gas by using a cyclic adsorption/desorption process using a loose particulate sorbent material for gas adsorption,wherein said particulate sorbent material is arranged in at least two stacked layers,
wherein each layer comprises two sheets of a flexible fabric material which is gas permeable but impermeable to the loose particulate sorbent material, which sheets:
are either mounted on a stiff frame structure or form the layer in a self-supporting way using spacers or distance elements between them,
are arranged essentially parallel defining an inlet face of the layer and an outlet face of the layer,
are arranged with a distance between the sheets in the range of 0.5-2.5 cm, and
are enclosing a cavity in which the particulate sorbent material is located,
wherein the unit has a gas inlet side or gas inlet manifold through which a gas inflow of the gas mixture enters the unit and a gas outlet side or gas outlet manifold through which a gas outflow exits the unit, a gas pathway between the gas inflow and the gas outflow being confined in the unit to pass through at least one layer;
wherein said layers are arranged in the unit such that the gas inflow passes through the inlet face, subsequently through the particulate sorbent material located in the cavity of the respective layer, subsequently to exit the respective layer through the outlet face to form the gas outflow;
wherein the layers are arranged such that inlet faces of adjacent layers are facing each other enclosing gas inlet channels and such that outlet faces are facing each other enclosing gas outlet channels;
wherein a mean distance between inlet faces and/or outlet faces defining said channels, measured in a direction essentially perpendicular to a main gas inflow direction and a main gas outflow direction, respectively, is in the range of 0.5-5 cm;
wherein a length of the inlet face and/or of the outlet face in a direction parallel to the main gas inflow direction and the main gas outflow direction, respectively, is at least ten times larger than distance (d) between the sheets in the layer;
wherein at least one layer is provided with primary heat exchange elements,
wherein tubing is provided in each layer,
wherein there are provided stackable backbone elements,
wherein attachment means are provided in or at said stackable backbone elements for fluid transfer attachment of ends of the tubes, and
wherein the stackable backbone elements can be connected to each other, to transfer a heat transfer fluid to and from the tubes in individual layers.

determine a PEP for the cardiac cycle as the time separating the first signal and the second signal, and
cause the PEP for the cardiac cycle to be displayed on a display element operably connected to the microprocessor; and
causing the sensor component and the microprocessor to determine and display PEP for the patient in a continuous fashion for a plurality of cardiac cycles.

the first and second fluorescence intensities are respectively associated with measures of blood volume during the diastolic phase and the systolic phase; and
computing a molar concentration, C, of the fluorescence agent in the blood by utilizing a concentration-mediated change in a fluorescence emission spectrum of the fluorescence agent; and
computing a change in aggregate blood layer thickness based on the first and second fluorescence intensities and based on the determined molar concentration, wherein the change is a quantitative measure of tissue blood perfusion in the tissue volume;
generating, based at least in part on the quantitative measure, a modified image of the tissue of the subject, wherein the modified image of the tissue of the subject depicts a same area as the sequence of fluorescence images of the tissue; and
displaying the modified image to facilitate clinical assessment of the tissue of the subject.

a removable lid attachable to and detachable from the base, wherein the lid includes:
a water inlet configured to receive an injection needle in fluid communication with a pressurized water supply of the coffee maker; and
a water-dispersing member including:
an injection needle chamber configured to provide space for the injection needle and limiting a release of water from the injection needle to directed sprays of water into the interior of the base;
a central vertical port in the injection needle chamber configured to provide a corresponding one of the directed sprays;
a disk-shaped circular chamber arranged in fluid communication with the injection needle chamber and disposed on a bottom surface of the lid, extending radially from the injection needle chamber above the interior of the base; and

i) use of a polyol compound or a mixture of a number of polyol compounds as binder, the OH number measured according to DIN 53 240-2 or mean OH number of which is above 300 mg KOH/g,

ii) choice of the proportion of hardener which corresponds to the co-binder in the reactive composition at greater than 2% by weight, based on the total solids content of the reactive composition,
characterized in that the fibres are provided continuously from a roll as a textile fabric, in that the textile fabric is coated continuously with the reactive composition, and in that the textile fabric coated with the reactive composition is exposed continuously to heat to perform the first crosslinking reaction, such that the thermoplastic polymer with the fibres embedded therein forms a continuous prepreg in the form of a strip which is cut into individual sections and the individual sections are layered in a stack and pressed to form a laminate.
