determining a surface of a base of the non-rigid adhesive object that has been partially deformed based on the known properties of the non-rigid adhesive object and the partial deformation of the non-rigid adhesive object;
subtracting the representation of the non-rigid adhesive object from the three-dimensional model based on the known properties of the non-rigid adhesive object; and
interpolating a surface of a portion of the dental site where the non-rigid adhesive object was located based on a) data for other portions of the dental site and b) the surface of the base of the non-rigid adhesive object.

indicating, from the receiver, which of said sent NACKs and ACKs are receiver outage NACKs and receiver outage ACKs sent in response to a block of said information received during said receiver outage;
adapting subsequent transmissions based on said ACKs and said NACKs while excluding one of (a) said receiver outage NACKs and (b) said receiver outage NACKs and said receiver outage ACKs; and
sending the subsequent transmissions based on the adapting.

wherein the control data includes one or more of an access control indicator, an alphanumeric data string, or a set of data values; and
wherein the mobile device is configured to extract the control data from the command message and store the control data in a secure data storage of the mobile device.

determining a theoretical linear relationship between a first image with a first exposure time duration and a second image with a second exposure time duration, wherein the first exposure time duration is shorter than the second exposure time duration;
projecting the linear relationship to determine an optimal exposure time that has an exposure time duration that exceeds each exposure time duration associated with each of the captured images when the linear relationship exists between each of the captured images, wherein the optimal exposure time is based upon a pixel intensity saturation level threshold; and
generating a projected image associated with the optimal exposure time from one or more of the captured images; and
determining whether each image that has an exposure time duration that is between the first exposure time duration of the first image and the second exposure time duration of the second image is within a threshold distance of the theoretical linear relationship.
