wherein said weight percent is based on the dry weight of the shaped support particle;

d) heat treating said shaped support particle at a controlled temperature of from about 850° F. to 950° F. whereby the shaped
support particle is converted to gamma alumina having a material absence of aluminum hydroxide and a material absence of crystalline
transitional phase of alumina other than gamma-alumina;

e) impregnating said shaped support particle with a hydrogenation catalytic component to thereby provide an impregnated shaped
support particle;

f) calcining said impregnated shaped support particle at a temperature of from about 870° F. to about 1000° F.;
g) contacting said impregnated shaped support particle with a diesel feedstock having a first sulfur concentration above 15
ppm at a temperature from about 392° F. to 788° F. and a pressure of 275 psig to 1500 psig; and

h) recovering an ultra low diesel sulfur diesel product having a second sulfur concentration of less than 15 ppm sulfur.

ii. treating the schoenite end liquor, the seaweed sap, or the sea bittern obtained in step (i) with tartaric acid or a salt
thereof and Mg(OH)2, to obtain precipitated potassium bi-tartrate and a potassium depleted residue, wherein the tartaric acid or a salt thereof
is in a sub-stoichiometric amount, and a molar ratio of the tartaric acid or a salt thereof to the Mg(OH)2 is 2:1;

iii. separating out the precipitated potassium bi-tartrate obtained in step (ii), and washing the precipitated potassium bi-tartrate
obtained in step (ii) after separation with water to generate washings and washed potassium bi-tartrate;

iv. adding the washings obtained in step (iii) into the potassium-depleted residue obtained in step (ii);
v. treating the washed potassium bi-tartrate obtained in step (iii) with a stoichiometric amount of MgCl2 and a stoichiometric amount of Mg(OH)2 to convert the washed potassium bi-tartrate to magnesium tartrate while generating a potassium chloride solution;

vi. separating the magnesium tartrate obtained in step (v) from the potassium chloride solution obtained in step (v), washing
the magnesium tartrate after separation to give washings and washed magnesium tartrate;

vii. treating the K-depleted residue obtained in step (iv) and the potassium chloride solution obtained in step (vi) with
calcium carbonate and calcium chloride to precipitate out residual tartaric acid in a form of insoluble calcium tartrate;

viii. adding the washed magnesium tartrate of step (vi) into a second schoenite end liquor along with a stoichiometric amount
of aqueous HCl to precipitate out potassium bi-tartrate;

ix. adding the potassium bi-tartrate from step (viii) into the washings of step (vi) and an additional amount of water followed
by treating with a stoichiometric amounts of MgCl2 and a stoichiometric amount of Mg(OH)2 to precipitate out magnesium tartrate and obtaining a solution of Potassium chloride followed by regenerating tartaric acid
from calcium tartrate obtained in step (vii).

1. A tire having a circumferential rubber tread composed of a cap/base configuration comprised of an outer tread cap rubber

wherein the outer tread cap rubber layer is composed of three circumferential load bearing zones comprised of an intermedial
tread zone rubber layer positioned between and extending beneath two individual stratified lateral tread zone rubber layers
to thereby underlie the lateral tread zone rubber layers and overlay the tread base rubber layer;

wherein the lateral tread zone layers are spaced apart from each other and at least partially spaced apart from the tread
base rubber layer with the intermedial tread zone therebetween,

wherein outer tread lug surfaces of the intermedial tread zone rubber layer and the lateral tread zone rubber layers comprise
the running surface of the tread;

wherein a peripheral rubber layer of the tread is provided as a radial extension of a tire sidewall which extends to and joins
said tread base rubber layer and lateral tread rubber zone which contains at least 40 phr of rubber reinforcing carbon black,

wherein rubber composition of the intermedial tread zone rubber layer has a 100° C. hot rebound property greater than the
100° C. hot rebound property of the rubber composition of the lateral tread rubber layers;

wherein, for filler reinforcement of the rubber compositions of the intermedial tread zone, stratified lateral tread zones
and tread base rubber zone;

(A) the rubber composition of the tread base rubber zone contains about 40 to about 60 phr of reinforcing filler comprised
of rubber reinforcing carbon black, and

(B) the rubber compositions of the intermedial and stratified lateral tread zones contain from about 40 to about 100 phr of
reinforcing filler wherein:

(1) the filler reinforcement for said lateral and intermedial tread zones is comprised of rubber reinforcing carbon black,
or

(2) the filler reinforcement of said intermedial tread zone is comprised of rubber reinforcing carbon black and the filler
reinforcement for said lateral tread zones is a combination of rubber reinforcing carbon black and precipitated silica comprised
of:

(a) at least 30 phr of rubber reinforcing carbon black, or
(b) up to about 25 phr of rubber reinforcing carbon black, or
(3) the filler reinforcement of said lateral tread zones is comprised of rubber reinforcing carbon black and the filler reinforcement
for said intermedial tread zone is a combination of rubber reinforcing carbon black and precipitated silica comprised of:

(a) at least 30 phr of rubber reinforcing carbon black, or
(b) up to about 25 phr of rubber reinforcing carbon black, or
(4) the filler reinforcement of both of said lateral tread zones and intermedial tread zone is comprised of a combination
of rubber reinforcing carbon black and precipitated silica comprised of:

(a) at least 30 phr of rubber reinforcing carbon black, or
