(f) receiving, by the processor, validity or class indications for potential defects in a potential defect lists associated with the selected at least one potential defect, the validity or class indications being received subsequent to potential defects in the potential defect lists being reviewed by the review tool; and
(g) subsequent to a stopping criteria not being observed:
(i) updating, by the processor, the first, second, or third policy in accordance with validation or classification of an item in the first subset and the one or more second subsets; and
(ii) repeating, by the processor, steps (c)-(g) in accordance with the first, second, or third policy as updated, until the stopping criteria is observed.

wherein the exposure condition parameter sensitivity is determined by calculating a variation of a pattern shape change amount with respect to a change in the size of the instrumentation region and a change in said exposure condition parameter.

1. A cleaning system for cleaning a currency transport device comprising:a cleaning substrate sized and configured to fit within at least a portion of a media travel pathway of a currency transport device, wherein the cleaning substrate comprises:
a cleaning face; and
a locking member configured to be positioned inside the currency transport device to secure the cleaning substrate in at least one substantially fixed position within the currency transport device while the currency transport device is operated, wherein:
the locking member comprises a tab connected to the cleaning face and extends away from the cleaning face so that, when the cleaning face is positioned in the media travel pathway, the tab will extend outside of the media travel pathway to another area of the currency transport device; and
the tab includes a first receptacle that is positioned to, when placed in the currency transport device, align with a first post of the currency transport device to secure the cleaning substrate within the media travel pathway in a first substantially fixed position.
