comparing a correlation between electroencephalography, EEG, sensor measurements and the input audio signal with one or more auditory evoked potential, AEP, signatures to determine whether the user hears the input audio signal, wherein each of the AEP signatures is representative of EEG sensor measurements associated with audio signals;
determining, based upon sensor measurements indicating a physical state of the user, whether the user is distracted by the input audio signal; and
in response to determining that the user hears the input audio signal and that the input audio signal causes the user to be distracted,
determining one or more configuration parameters to be used for altering one of the one or more audio signals,
causing an alteration of the one of the one or more audio signals based upon the one or more configuration parameters to obtain one or more modified versions of the one of the one or more audio signals that are intended to address the distraction caused by the input audio signal, and
causing one or more output audio signals to be output, wherein the one or more output audio signals include the modified versions of the one of the one or more audio signals.

identify, from the plurality of sets of data signals, a set of data signals corresponding to a strongest cellular wireless broadband connection signal strength; and
determine an internet protocol television (IPTV) provider based on the set of data signals corresponding to the strongest cellular wireless broadband connection signal strength;
convert said set of data signals into IPTV output signals in accordance to the IPTV provider; and
a display unit communicatively coupled to the processor and adapted to receive the IPTV output signals, and to process the IPTV output signals to generate a multimedia content, and to render the generated multimedia content.

outputting the caption preview to a display device that is connected to the customer premise equipment device, wherein the display device is a different device than the client device;
receiving confirmation of user-approval of the displayed caption preview; and
upon confirmation of the user-approval of the displayed caption preview, saving the association between the caption settings and the client device; and
in response to determining that caption settings associated with the client device are stored at the customer premise equipment device:
parsing the caption data from the content, wherein the caption data is parsed from a table associated with the content, and wherein the caption data comprises a caption service descriptor and one or more caption commands;
generating edited caption data by overwriting one or more of the caption commands according to the caption settings associated with the client device;
consolidating the edited caption data with the requested content; and
outputting the consolidated edited caption data and requested content to the client device.

wherein the first category information, the first subcategory information and the first title information are the same as designated by the content provider in order to locate the first title among a plurality of titles whose associated video content is desired for viewing on the respective TV,
wherein the video-on-demand content menu is generated in real time in a plurality of layers comprising:
1. a first layer comprising a background screen to provide at least one of a basic color, logo, or graphical theme to display;
2. a second layer layered on the first layer wherein the second layer comprises a one or more reserved areas that are reserved for displaying video-on-demand content data provided by a third layer; and
3. the third layer comprising reserved area content generated using the video-on-demand menu data, to be displayed in the one or more reserved areas of the second layer, wherein the reserved area content comprises at least one of text, an image, a navigation link, and a button,

generating a modified time range for the remaining subtitle entry, the modified time range covering a portion of the combined time range that is larger than the specified time range associated with the remaining subtitle entry;
packaging the video content, the audio content, and the reduced subtitle information file for delivery as on-demand content associated with the live event; and
providing the on-demand content to a second client device, including providing the reduced subtitle information file to the second client device.
