at a third time subsequent to the second time, maintain the bypass switch in the closed state before causing the bypass switch to switch back from the closed state to the open state based on the enable signal, wherein causing the bypass switch to switch back to the open state prevents damage to the bypass switch.

A circuit for realizing a continuously variable precision and linear floating resistor, comprising:(i) at least two linear floating voltage-controlled resistor (LFVCR) circuits comprising a first LFVCR circuit and a second LFVCR circuit, wherein each LFVCR circuit comprises (a) two resistor terminals, a control terminal, and a bias terminal; (b) a MOSFET having two interchangeable source-drain terminals, a gate terminal, and a substrate terminal; (c) a gate drive means having three inputs, with interchangeable source-drain terminals of the MOSFET connected as the two inputs and the control terminal connected as the third input, and an output connected to the gate terminal of the MOSFET; and (d) a substrate drive means having three inputs, with the interchangeable source-drain terminals of the MOSFET connected as the two inputs and the bias terminal connected as the third input, and an output connected to the substrate terminal of the MOSFET;
(ii) a bias voltage means with an output terminal connected to the bias terminal of each LFVCR circuit for providing a bias voltage (VBB);
(iii) an op amp having noninverting and inverting input terminals, and an output terminal connected to the control terminal of each LFVCR circuit for providing a control voltage (vC); and
(iv) three voltage sources comprising a first voltage source, a second voltage source, and a third voltage source, and a resistor;
wherein the MOSFET devices of the LFVCR circuits are matched and have independent substrate terminals, the first voltage source is connected to the first resistor terminal of the first LFVCR circuit, the second voltage source is connected in series with the resistor to the second resistor terminal of the first LFVCR circuit and to the inverting input terminal of the op amp, the third voltage source is connected to the noninverting input terminal of the op amp, and the resistor terminals of the second LFVCR circuit serve as the resistor terminals of the circuit.

tracking, by the at least one computing device, changes over time in the collected health data;
detecting, by the at least one computing device, the occurrence of the onset of the water retention based on the collected health data including at least one of the changes, the occurrence of the onset of the water retention being associated with a medical recommendation;
electronically providing, by the at least one computing device, the medical recommendation to the entity responsive to the detecting of the occurrence of the onset of the water retention;
finding, by the at least one computing device, a plurality of upcoming scheduled activities occurring at most three days apart in an electronic calendar of the entity;
responsive to determining, by the at least one computing device, that an upcoming scheduled activity is a new activity that had not been previously scheduled in the electronic calendar:
predicting, by the at least one computing device, whether the scheduled activity will cause the occurrence of the onset of the water retention for the entity based on machine learning techniques trained over time and applied to crowd-sourced data including water retention risk data of others assumed to have a water retention risk similar to a water retention risk of the entity and who previously had a similar scheduled activity on their respective electronic calendars;
responsive to determining, by the at least one computing device, that the plurality of upcoming scheduled activities have been previously scheduled in the electronic calendar of the entity:
determining, by the at least one computing device, an impact of each of the plurality of upcoming scheduled activities to a risk of water retention, wherein at least one upcoming scheduled activity decreases the risk of water retention and at least one upcoming scheduled activity increases the risk of water retention, and wherein the plurality of upcoming scheduled activities includes an exercise activity and consumption of food;
combining, by the at least one computing device using machine learning techniques trained over time, the impact of each of the plurality of upcoming scheduled activities to determine a risk score indicating the risk of water retention; and
determining, by the at least one computing device, based on the risk score, whether the upcoming scheduled activities will cause the entity to experience the water retention;
storing in a database, by the at least one computing device, information regarding one or more of the found upcoming scheduled activities that cause the entity to experience the water retention; and
electronically providing, by the at least one computing device, a second medical recommendation to the entity based on the found upcoming scheduled activities when the found upcoming scheduled activities are expected to cause an occurrence of the water retention for the entity.

a threshold switch having a channel layer between a first terminal and a second terminal, wherein the first terminal is coupled to the drain terminal of the selector transistor, and wherein the threshold switch is to switch from a high resistance state that represents a first logic value for a data bit to a low resistance state that represents a second logic value for the data bit when a voltage across the first and second terminals exceeds a threshold voltage and is to remain in the low resistance state after switching when the voltage across the first and second terminals is equal to or greater than a holding voltage that is less than the threshold voltage;
wherein, to write the data bit with the second logic value, the word line signal and the bit line signal are to control the selector transistor to apply a first voltage to the first terminal that is equal to or greater than the threshold voltage and then apply a second voltage to the first terminal that is less than the first voltage to maintain the threshold switch in the high resistance state, wherein the second voltage is less than the threshold voltage.

processing the audio stream using the second processing scheme in order to suppress the portion of the ambient noise in the audio stream interfering with the audio signal, thereby enhancing the audio stream, wherein the second processing scheme is selected prior to any processing of the audio stream by the first processing scheme and the second processing scheme.
