based upon the current position of the tracking point and the sensor data, rendering a virtual object, separate from and addition to the object, into each of the additional live images output to the display to generate a plurality of synthetic images wherein in each of the synthetic images the virtual object is positioned relative to the current position of the tracking point determined for each of the additional live images, wherein the virtual object provides information related to one or more of i) a progress of the camera along a path, ii) a current position, iii) a current orientation of the camera relative to the path or iv) combinations thereof during the capture of the plurality of images used to generate the multi-view interactive digital media representation of the object; and

1. A method for maintaining a specified beam profile of an x-ray beam extracted from an x-ray target over a large range of extraction angles relative to said target, the method comprising:generating a beam of electrons;
directing the beam of electrons, characterized by a cross-section, toward a target at an angle of incidence with respect to the target wherein the beam of electrons forms a focal spot corresponding to the cross-section of the electron beam;
dynamically varying at least one of a size, shape, and orientation of the electron beam cross-section as an extraction angle is varied such that a size or shape of an apparent focal spot, defined as a projection of the focal spot on a plane transverse to a direction of extraction of an x-ray beam from the target, is kept substantially invariant with increasing extraction angles; and
collimating the x-ray beam extracted at the extraction angle.

receiving a gateway link layer public key from the wireless device via the encrypted connection; and
storing the gateway link layer public key; and
a second iteration that includes:
sending a first nonce to the wireless device via the encrypted connection;
receiving an encrypted combination of the first nonce and a second nonce from the wireless device via the encrypted connection, wherein the encrypted combination is encrypted using a gateway link layer private key of the wireless device that corresponds to the gateway link layer public key; and
authenticating the wireless device based on the encrypted combination and the gateway link layer public key stored by the gateway.
