wherein the pseudo-connection is established when at least one of the ranked downlink AWSNR buffers from the plurality of downlink AWSNR buffers passes a pre-defined pseudo-connection qualification criterion, and
wherein the pseudo-connection corresponds to a connection in which an uplink and a downlink data-path is disabled between the target BTS and the CPE; and
evaluating, by the CPE, the pseudo-connection with the target BTS for one of a network entry and a handover, based on at least one of uplink AWSNR metrics associated with the target BTS or Module and Coding Scheme (MCS) metrics associated with the CPE and the target BTS.

A method for clustering a wireless network having at least a first node and a second node, the method comprising:calculating via a processor of the first node a score for the first node, the score being calculated based on one or more predetermined criteria for the first node, wherein the score indicates a suitability of the first node for being a cluster head;
calculating via the processor of the first node a waiting time for the first node, the waiting time being calculated based on the score of the first node and the waiting time being inversely proportional to the score;
setting to empty via the processor a cluster head field of the first node;
determining via the processor if a message is received over the wireless network and at the first node during at least one of a clustering period or the waiting time of the first node;
upon receiving the message over the wireless network and at the first node, determining via the processor if the message is a cluster head message from the second node;
upon receiving a cluster head message from the second node, storing in a storage medium of the first node information contained in the cluster head message from the second node into the cluster head field;
determining via the processor if the cluster head field is empty after the end of the waiting time of the first node;
upon determining that the cluster head field is empty after the end of the waiting time of the first node, sending via the first node a cluster head message to the second node and setting the first node as a cluster head; and
upon determining that the cluster head field of the first node is not empty at an end of a clustering period, setting via the processor the first node as a regular member of a cluster in the wireless network.

retrieve session continuity information from a cache memory, wherein the session continuity information includes information for maintaining session continuity for select services in the event of a failure without replicating session stores, including at least one of a session continuation (SC) parameter or a Session-Continuity Attribute-Value-Pair (AVP);
generating a second message that includes the retrieved session continuity information and sending the second message to the identified application component;
receiving a third message from the identified application component and forwarding the received third message to the first client component;
receiving a fourth message that includes updated session continuity information from the identified application component, extracting second information from the received fourth message, and determining the common key based on the extracted second information;
using the determined common key to identify the cache memory that stores the session continuity information;
updating the information stored in the identified cache memory based on the updated session continuity information included in the received fourth message; and
sending the received fourth message to a second client component.

receiving, from the electronic device, a plurality of data packets addressed to a location external to a local network;
analyzing, by the one or more processors, the plurality of data packets to identify a plurality of communication sessions within the plurality of data packets;
identifying, by the one or more processors, that the particular application corresponds to one of the plurality of communication sessions; and
performing, by the one or more processors, the indicated network regulation activity indicated to the communication session that corresponds to the particular application, wherein performing the indicated network regulation activity includes:
comparing a byte volume of the received plurality of data packets to a threshold proportion of the bandwidth allocated to the electronic device, and
based on the comparison and the indicated network priority level for the particular application, performing one of (i) routing the data packets within the communication session that corresponds to the particular application to a respective location external to the local network, or (ii) queuing the data packets within the communication session that corresponds to the particular application.

direct an undertaking of the countermeasure when the candidate is a determined tampering or undertaking a maintenance when the candidate is a determined normal operational error.

b) for each of the plurality of test signal width values:
i) determining one or more detected signal component groups in the spectral response data based on the signal intensity values of the one or more detected signal components, each detected signal component group comprising one or more of the detected signal components corresponding to one or more consecutive signal locations having a non-zero, positive signal intensity value; and
ii) determining one or more signal characterization parameters for each of the one or more detected signal component groups, wherein the one or more signal characterization parameters includes at least a location of each of the one or more detected signal component groups, and wherein the location of each of the one or more detected signal component groups is determined by calculating a centroid of the locations of the one or more detected signal components making up the detected signal component group;
and thereafter
c) performing an iterative combinatorial optimization process on all or a subset of the detected signal component groups determined for all test signal width values, based on one or more of the signal characterization parameters of the one or more detected signal component groups, to determine a final set of one or more detected signal component groups having a best match relative to the trace signal data; and
determining, from among all the final sets of one or more detected signal component groups, an optimal final set that produces the lowest percent fit error relative to the trace signal data; and
outputting locations, intensities and signal widths of one or more signal components of the trace signal data based on the optimal final set of one or more detected signal component groups.

verifying authentication information requested in advance by the access computer system using the security file, and
unlocking a selective network port of the target computer system for an access by the access computer system, if the verification of the authentication information by the access computer system has been successful.
