identifying, by the receiving device, at least one transmitting device beam pair from the communications beams of the at least two transmitting devices based on the selected at least one communications beam of each transmitting device, the at least one transmitting device beam pair consisting of one communications beam for each of two of the at least two transmitting devices;
performing, by the receiving device, at least one observed time difference of arrival (OTDOA) measurement based on the BF-PRSs on the at least one transmitting device beam pair; and
transmitting, by the receiving device, OTDOA feedback including the at least one OTDOA measurement and including identifiers of the selected communications beams of the at least one transmitting device beam pair.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING CONTENT IN AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES BASED ON PERCEPTION DYNAMICALLY DETERMINED AT REAL-TIME

BAIDU USA LLC, Sunnyvale...

1. A computer-implemented method for content delivery to an autonomous vehicle, the method comprising:performing an image analysis on an image captured using a camera mounted on an autonomous vehicle, the image representing an exterior environment of an autonomous vehicle;
obtaining localization information surrounding the autonomous vehicle at a point in time;
determining a perception associated with exterior environment of the autonomous vehicle based on the image analysis and the localization information;
receiving a plurality of content items from one or more content servers over a network in response to the perception associated with the exterior environment of the autonomous vehicle;
ranking the plurality of content items using a predetermined ranking algorithm to select a first content item from the plurality of content items;
superimposing the first content item onto the image captured by the camera, generating an augmented image augmented with the first content item; and
displaying the augmented image on a display device mounted on an interior surface of the autonomous vehicle, wherein the display device includes a touch screen to allow a passenger to interact with one or more choices presented by the first content item, wherein the display device is configured to appear as an ordinary window of the autonomous vehicle, and wherein when the passenger looks at the display device, an object of the augmented image is displayed as a virtual object in a virtual reality manner as if the passenger looked at a physical object through the ordinary window of the autonomous vehicle.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MIGRATING VIRTUAL MACHINES BETWEEN SERVERS

Parallels International G...

1. A method for migrating a virtual machine (VM) from a first server to a second server to access physical resources, the method comprising:intercepting, by a VM manager, a request from a client device to access a physical resource associated with the second server, wherein the interception comprises:
registering the VM manager using a globally unique identifier;
accessing, by the VM manager, functions of an original library of the physical resource; and
sending, by the VM manager, function calls from the client device directly to the original library of the physical resource;
identifying, by the VM manager, a virtual machine on the first server that is currently hosting a remote application for the client device;
identifying, by the VM manager, the second server associated with the physical resource; and
migrating, by the VM manager, the virtual machine from the first server to the second server, such that the client device accesses the physical resource using the second server.

METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE DIRECTION OF A SOURCE OF WATERBORNE SOUND, A COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT, A COMPUTER OR SONAR, AND A WATERCRAFT

ATLAS ELEKTRONIK GMBH, B...

1. A method for determining the direction of a source of waterborne sound that emits a waterborne acoustic signal by means of a hydrophone arrangement which forms a linear antenna or a virtual linear antenna, wherein the method comprises the following steps:determining the waterborne acoustic signal incoming at the hydrophone arrangement at a first measurement time t1,
performing an electronic antenna swing analysis which determines a sum signal S of the linear antenna or of the virtual signal antenna at every rotation angle ?n=?0±n??, where ?0 is the starting angle, ?? is the step-width angle, and n=0, 1, 2, 3, 4 . . . , such that a measurement series S(?) is created,
determining a maximum sum signal, Smax(?max), where ?max represents the maximum rotation angle of the measurement series S(?),
determining a fit measurement series SFit(?), which includes the maximum sum signal Smax(?max) and at least two more sum signals S(?n)m, with the sum number m=2, 3, 4 . . . ,
determining a mathematical fit function SFit(?Fit) for the fit measurement series SFit(?) by means of a mathematical equalization calculation, and
determining a fit function maximum fFit,Max(?Fit,Max) of the mathematical fit function fFit(?Fit), wherein the direction of the waterborne sound source can be determined by means of ?Fit,Max.
