controlling a supply of electricity provided to the plurality of induction heating coils to intermittently activate the first set of coils and the second set of coils by alternating the supply of electricity between the first power supply and the second power supply so that the first set of coils is provided with electricity when electricity is not provided to the second set of coils, and the second set of coils is provided with electricity when electricity is not provided to the first set of coils wherein the process area extends through the first set of coils and the second set of coils, wherein the first power supply and the second power supply are configured to alternately power the first set of coils and the second set of coils such that the first set of coils and the second set of coils are energized at different times to reduce electromagnetic interference between individual coils of the first set of coils and the second set of coils; and
passing the workpiece through the process area, wherein the process area extends through the first set of coils and the second set of coils.
