a link for communication with the wireless network; and

in response to receiving from the wireless network device the link for communication with the wireless network device, selectively
generating a signal indicative of at least one of the determined presence of water, the temperature, and the determined orientation
for communication with the wireless network device based on the link.

1. A method, comprising:
controlling a mobile device capable of establishing connection with a first and at least a second type radio access network,
the first and the second type radio access network operating with different radio access technologies;

detecting a radio link failure;
trying, in case a radio link failure is detected when the mobile device was connected with the first type radio access network,
to re-establish connection with the first type radio access network, and;

in case re-establishing the connection with the first type radio access network was not successful, trying to re-establish
connection with the second type radio access network; and

checking whether information is available regarding a target node of the second type radio access network and/or information
regarding a frequency to be used to start the re-establishing process with the second type radio access network.
