in a case where it is determined that the sheet feed cassette of which the opening or closing is detected matches with the selected sheet feed cassette, cause the display unit to display a setting screen for setting a sheet type for the sheet feed cassette of which the opening or closing is detected; and
in a case where the sheet type set through the setting screen matches with the sheet type designated in the print job, control the image forming unit to form an image on a sheet fed from the sheet feed cassette of which the sheet type is set.

An image processing apparatus comprising:an evaluation unit configured to determine a first evaluation value based on image data corresponding to a block in an image frame and determine a plurality of second evaluation values each being determined based on image data corresponding to a respective one of a plurality of sub-blocks divided from the block, wherein each of the plurality of second evaluations is obtained based on values of pixels belonging to the corresponding sub-block and indicates a complexity level of values of pixels belonging to the corresponding sub-block; and
a determination unit configured to determine magnitude of a quantization parameter for use in quantizing the image data corresponding to the block based on the first evaluation value determined by the evaluation unit and a smallest second evaluation value among the second evaluation values,
wherein the determination unit determines the quantization parameter for use in quantizing the image data corresponding to the block as a first quantization parameter in a case where the first evaluation values are a first value and the smallest second evaluation value is a second value, and
wherein the determination unit determines the quantization parameter for use in quantizing the image data corresponding to the block as a second quantization parameter smaller than the first quantization parameter in a case where the first evaluation values are the first value and the smallest second evaluation value is a third value smaller than the second value.

sending a second set of control information to the optical-image pickup apparatus instructing the optical-image pickup apparatus to modify the optical path in which measurement light is radiated onto the subject;
receiving a new first set of quality data, to replace the previously received first set of quality data, that is based on new wavefront data after the optical path has been modified; and
re-comparing the new first set of quality data to the first threshold;
in a third case wherein the comparison of the first set of quality data that is based on the new wavefront data indicates that the new wavefront data is of sufficient quality then performing the normal adaptive optics feedback in which the optical path has been adjusted based on the second set of control information; and
in a fourth case wherein the comparison of the first set of quality data that is based on the new wavefront data indicates that the new wavefront data is not of sufficient quality then re-performing the initial adjustment based on a new second set of control information.
