(a) a first heater control operation, when a recording material having a width such that the recording material passes both the position of said first temperature detecting element and the position of said second temperature detecting element, is heated in the nip, for controlling power supply to said heater so that the temperature detected by said second temperature detecting element is maintained at a heater target temperature, wherein, when the first heater control operation is executed, said controller corrects the target temperature of said heater based on the temperature detected by said first temperature detecting element; and
(b) a second heater control operation, when a recording material having a width such that the recording material passes through the position of said first temperature detecting element, but does not pass through the position of said second temperature detecting element, is heated in the nip, for controlling the power supply to said heater, so that the temperature detected by said first temperature detecting element, irrespective of the temperature detected by said second temperature detecting element, is maintained at a film target temperature, while monitoring the temperature of the heater based on the temperature of the heater detected by said third temperature detecting element,
wherein, when the second heater control operation is executed, a feeding speed of the recording material in the nip is less than that when the first heater control operation is executed, and
wherein said apparatus heats the recording material carrying the image while the recording material passes through the nip.

1. A cleaning apparatus that is attachable to and detachable from an image forming apparatus, comprising:an image bearing member;
a blade member which includes an elastic member contacting the surface of the image bearing member, and a support member supporting the elastic member, the support member having a first surface that extends along a rotation axis direction of the image bearing member and a second surface that intersects with the first surface and that extends along the rotation axis direction;
a frame, to which the first surface of the support member is fixed at two fixed portions;
a vibration absorbing member, which is disposed between the frame and the second surface of the support member, and which is located between the two fixed portions when viewed along a direction perpendicular to the rotation axis direction; and
a seal member, which is disposed between the frame and the second surface of the support member, and which seals a gap between the second surface of the support member and the frame,
wherein the vibration absorbing member has a length that is not more than ¼ the length of the second surface in the rotation axis direction, and has a loss factor tan ?, measured when vibration at a 100 Hz frequency is applied at a measurement temperature 23° C.±2° C., of at least 0.6 and not more than 2.0, and
wherein the seal member extends from a position overlapping with one of the two fixed portions to a position overlapping with the other fixed portion, in the rotation axis direction.

1. A photoacoustic apparatus comprising:a light source configured to irradiate an inspection target with pulsed light;
a detector having a plurality of transducer elements configured to output a plurality of analog signals by detecting an acoustic wave generated due to irradiating the inspection target with the pulsed light;
a light-quantity measurement unit configured to measure a quantity of the pulsed light output from the light source, before the inspection target is irradiated with the pulsed light;
an A/D (analog-to-digital) converter configured to convert the plurality of analog signals output from the plurality of transducer elements into a plurality of digital signals; and
a signal processing unit configured to:
obtain image reconstruction data in a three-dimensional space by performing image reconstruction based on the plurality of digital signals,
obtain a light intensity distribution of the pulsed light in the three-dimensional space by performing a light propagation simulation based on an in-plane light intensity distribution of the pulsed light, an attenuation inside the inspection target of the pulsed light, and the quantity of the pulsed light measured by the light-quantity measurement unit, and
obtain information on an inside of the inspection target in the three-dimensional space by correcting the image reconstruction data in the three-dimensional space based on the light intensity distribution of the pulse light in the three-dimensional space.

a processor configured to execute one of a plurality of modes including a first mode and a second mode in a case where an image forming job is inputted, and configured to execute one of a plurality of modes including a third mode and a fourth mode, the first mode being a mode where the processor controls the image forming portion to form an image on the sheet only if a sheet type included in the image forming job is consistent with the sheet type stored in the storage portion, the second mode being a mode where the processor is capable of controlling the image forming portion to form the image on the sheet even if the sheet type included in the image forming job is inconsistent with the sheet type stored in the storage portion, the third mode being a mode where the processor displays the type setting screen on the display at a time when the sheet is supported on the sheet support portion, and the fourth mode being a mode where the processor does not display the type setting screen on the display even if the sheet is supported on the sheet support portion,
wherein the processor controls, in a condition in which the processor is set in the third mode, the display so as not to display the type setting screen at the time the sheet is supported on the sheet support portion in the second mode.
