a conveying unit configured to convey a continuous sheet;
a printing unit configured to print an image on the continuous sheet;
a cutting unit configured to cut the continuous sheet at a location of a leading edge side and a trailing edge side of the
image printed on the continuous sheet;

a control unit configured to, in a case in which a marginless image is to be printed, execute a first control of providing
a margin portion on a front side of the image and printing the image; and

a determination unit configured to determine whether the image is shorter than a predetermined length in a conveyance direction,
wherein in the case in which the marginless image is to be printed, the control unit suspends execution of the first control
until the determination unit determines the image.
