an order in which each of the signal value of the first comparison result signal and the signal value of the second comparison
result signal varies,

wherein the counter control unit causes the first counter to count the number of clock pulses during a period of time during
which the signal value of the first comparison result signal differs from the signal value of the second comparison result
signal and causes the second counter to generate the count signal through first counting in which the number of clock pulses
is counted during a period of time during which the signal value of the first comparison result signal is the same as the
signal value of the second comparison result signal and second counting in which the number of clock pulses is counted during
a period of time during which the signal value of the first comparison result signal differs from the signal value of the
second comparison result signal so that counting of the number of clock pulses per unit time in the first counting is greater
than counting of the number of clock pulses per unit time in the second counting, and

wherein during a period of time during which the signal values of the first comparison result signal and the second comparison
result signal differ from the signal values obtained when comparison of the first photoelectric conversion signal and the
reference signal performed by the first comparator and comparison of the second photoelectric conversion signal and the reference
signal performed by the second comparator start, the counter control unit causes the first counter and the second counter
to stop counting the number of clock pulses, causes the first counter to generate the first digital signal, and causes the
second counter to generate the second digital signal.

A power transmitting apparatus that transmits power to a power receiving apparatus, the power transmitting apparatus comprising:a power transmission unit configured to execute first wireless power transmission intermittently using a first antenna, second wireless power transmission having a power transmission period longer than a power transmission period of the first wireless power transmission using the first antenna, and third wireless power transmission having a larger amount of power than an amount of power of the first wireless power transmission and an amount of power of the second wireless power transmission using the first antenna;
a detection unit configured to detect an impedance change; and
a communication unit configured to execute, using a second antenna different from the first antenna, communication with the power receiving apparatus to determine whether to execute the third wireless power transmission,
wherein the power transmission unit starts the second wireless power transmission in a case where the detection unit detects the impedance change while the first power transmission is executed, and the power transmission unit starts the third wireless power transmission in a case where it is determined that the third wireless power transmission is to be executed by the communication by the communication unit after the second wireless power transmission is started.

a second planetary gear unit including a second engaged gear having a second engaged portion, and a second meshing gear configured
to mesh with the first meshing gear; and

a stopping member, including a first engaging portion engageable with the first engaged portion, and a second engaging portion
engageable with the second engaged portion, the stopping member being pivotally movable to a first stop position, at which
the first engaging portion is engaged with the first engaged portion so that the first engaged gear is stopped, and to a second
stop position, at which the second engaging portion is engaged with the second engaged portion so that the second engaged
gear is stopped,

wherein the first engaged gear and the second engaged gear have the same cross-sectional shape when viewed in a direction
of a pivot axis of the stopping member,

wherein a pivot fulcrum of the stopping member is arranged at an intersection between an extension line of a vector of a force
that the first engaging portion receives from the first engaged portion under a state in which the stopping member is at the
first stop position, and an extension line of a vector of a force that the second engaging portion receives from the second
engaged portion under a state in which the stopping member is at the second stop position, and

wherein, when the first engaged gear and the second engaged gear are viewed in the direction of the pivot axis of the stopping
member, (1) a first line passing through a rotation axis of the first engaged gear and a rotation axis of the second engaged
gear, (2) a second line passing through the first engaged portion and the second engaged portion, and (3) a third line, parallel
to the first line and to the second line and passing through the pivot axis of the stopping member, are positioned, in this
order, in a direction perpendicular to the first line.

used, based on a parameter obtained from the image processing being out of image encoding processing; and

encode the processed image by referring to a reference image according to a determination.
