during a period of non-communication on the DALI bus, electrically coupling a high-current power supply to the controlled device via the DALI bus, the high-current power supply arranged to provide a first high-current power signal to the controlled device;
upon detection of any DALI communication sequence on the DALI bus, electrically de-coupling the high-current power supply from the controlled device for a determined time period; and
during the determined time period, electrically coupling a storage element to the controlled device, the storage element arranged to provide a second high-current power signal to the controlled device.

a controller-side high speed communications data element integrated with the primary male connector and proximal to the first substantially planar surface;
a fixture-side high speed communications data element integrated with the primary female connector and proximal to the second substantially planar surface, wherein the primary male connector is electrically coupled to the primary female connector and the controller-side high speed communications data element is arranged for point-to-point high speed data communication with the fixture-side high speed communications data element when the controller is rotatably coupled to the roadside aerial lighting fixture; and
at least one sidewall connector, the at least one sidewall connector arranged in a sidewall of the primary male connector or a sidewall of the primary female connector.

a power output interface electrically coupled to the power conversion circuitry and integrated with the at least one sidewall of the housing, the power output interface being arranged to expose the at least one output AC signal for use external to the housing.

monitor the parked vehicle to determine whether the parked vehicle is parked illegally based on the parking rule information, wherein the monitoring occurs at a rate based at least in part on a processing power of the imaging device, and wherein the determination whether the parked vehicle is parked illegally is based, at least in part, on a determination that the parked vehicle is located outside of a predetermined parking range;
direct wireless transmission of an alert notification to a portable user device of the parking authority user in response to a determination that the parked vehicle is parked illegally.

1. A method executed by a processor of a streetlight-mounted controller, comprising:collecting a first measurement data set from a first sensor of the streetlight-mounted controller arranged to detect light;
collecting a second measurement data set from a second sensor of the streetlight-mounted controller arranged to capture video data;
determining a state of connectivity of the first sensor, wherein determining the state of connectivity of the first sensor includes determining whether the first sensor has detected an ambient light change within a predetermined time period;
selecting parameters based on the state of the connectivity;
performing logical operations to evaluate the first measurement data set from the first sensor based on the parameters, wherein the logical operations include correlating the first measurement data set with the second measurement data set;
if the correlation indicates the ambient light change occurred within the predetermined time period, but the first sensor did not detect the ambient light change within the predetermined time period, then engaging an actuator and providing an alert indicating an incorrect first sensor connection state; and
if the first sensor detected the ambient light change within the predetermined time period then engaging the actuator.

a remote computing device in communication with the at least one imaging device, and comprising at least one processor configured to:
(i) process data related to images from the at least one imaging device and from a satellite imagery system,
(ii) perform comparison operation by detecting a first set of points of interest in an image from the at least one imaging device and corresponding second set of points of interest in an image of a same area from the satellite imagery system, wherein each point of interest from the first set of points of interest corresponds to a respective point of interest from the second set of points of interest, and the first set of points of interest and the second set of points of interest are each represented as a three-valued vector, wherein the first set of points of interest are represented as c=[x,y,1] and the second set of points of interest are represented as g=[latitude, longitude,1], and
(iii) calculating a homography matrix using the following equation: g*H=k*c, wherein k is a normalization scalar, and by matching the first set of points of interests in the image from the at least one imaging device and the second set of points of interest in the image from the satellite imagery system, to determine latitude and longitude coordinates of the image from the at least one imaging device.

process a selection input received from the electronic device, the selection input selecting at least one of the plurality of platform services;
process identification information received from the electronic device;
determine, based on the selection input and the identification information, authorization of the electronic device to access the processing infrastructure;
facilitate access to the processing infrastructure when the processor determines the electronic device is authorized; and
monitor and control access to the processing infrastructure by the electronic device according to an access condition.

an indicator apparatus that presents an orientation of the camera to a viewer that is outside of the housing, without opening the housing, by moving the indicator apparatus as the orientation of the camera is changed, wherein the indicator apparatus is interconnected with the camera, and changing the orientation of the camera also changes a position of the indicator apparatus within the housing.

translating the set of pixel coordinates of the vehicle to a first set of global coordinates defining a first geospatial location of a blob-shaped object corresponding to the vehicle, wherein the translating comprises translating the set of pixel coordinates based on a value of at least one of an angle, a height, and a physical position, of a camera which captured the image;
accessing a second set of global coordinates defining a second geospatial location of a blob-shaped object corresponding to the parking space;
determining an overlap amount of the blob-shaped object corresponding to the vehicle with the blob-shaped object corresponding to the parking space based on a difference between the first set of global coordinates and the second set of global coordinates;
determining the vehicle is parked in the parking space in response to the overlap amount satisfying a threshold overlap amount; and
updating a data object associated with the vehicle to indicate the vehicle is parked in the parking space.
