wherein a part of the holding parts has an area of cross section which is different from the areas of the cross sections of
the other holding parts; and a difference between the area of the cross sections and the cross-sectional areas of the hole
parts corresponding thereto is not constant, and some of the cross-sectional areas of the plurality of the holding parts include
those that differ from the other cross-sectional area of the holding part,

wherein the holding part provided near a center of the edge side has the largest cross-sectional area.

thin parts provided in the respective end portions of the two adjacent component plates are overlapped with each other, wherein the thin parts are thinner in the width direction than portions in a non-overlapped part in the two adjacent component plates,
a surface facing the processing region in the overlapped part and a surface facing the processing region in non-overlapped part are on the same plane, and a surface facing the inner wall in the overlapped part and a surface facing the inner wall in non-overlapped part are on the same plane,
a plurality of targets disposed inside of the processing chamber; and
a partition plate configured to isolate the respective targets from each other,
wherein the partition plate is configured by arranging a plurality of partition component plates of which respective end portions are butted with each other at an interval and connecting two adjacent partition component plates of the plurality of partition component plates with the use of a connection cover which is provided so as to bridge butted end portions, such that a thermal expansion generated due to the film deposition processing is absorbed by a relative movement of the two adjacent partition component plates with respect to the connection cover, and
a partition plate concave part is provided at the connection cover and each of the two adjacent partition component plates to make a gap between the connection cover and each of the two adjacent partition component plates at a region apart from the butted end portions that is larger than a gap at a region proximal to the butted end portions.

forming a required pattern on the n+ silicon layer;
etching the first amorphous silicon layer, the second amorphous silicon layer and the n+ silicon layer; and
forming a source electrode and a drain electrode on the n+ silicon layer after the etching,
wherein the annealing is adapted to irradiate the energy beam so that the polysilicon layer and at least one electrode of the source electrode and the drain electrode do not overlap with each other and are separated by a predetermined distance from each other at positions in which they are projected onto the surface of the substrate.

the timing controller outputs an image signal which is based on the input image signal and whose vertical resolution is half of the vertical resolution of the display panel and whose horizontal resolution matches the horizontal resolution of the display panel to the signal driving unit, and
the signal driving unit comprises:
a data latch for latching the image signal received from the timing controller; and
a line memory for duplicating pixel data of the image signal received from the data latch,
wherein
each pixel of data of the image signal received from the data latch is duplicated by storing each pixel of data of the image signal received from the data latch in areas of two pixels of the line memory,
the duplication of the pixel data results in the vertical resolution of the image signal received from the timing controller being doubled, and
the signal driving unit applies the signal voltage to each of the signal lines in accordance with the image signal which is stored in the line memory, and of which the vertical resolution is twice the vertical resolution of the image signal received from the timing controller.

a first transfer step of performing photolithography by use of a first exposure mask having a first mask pattern corresponding to a color layer of the certain color, so that the color layer closes first openings of the plurality of openings or faces the first openings, thereby transferring the first mask pattern to a first area of the color material layer;
a second transfer step of performing photolithography by use of a second exposure mask having a second mask pattern corresponding to the color layer of the certain color, so that the color layer closes second openings, different from the first openings, of the plurality of openings or faces the second openings, thereby transferring the second mask pattern to a second area of the color material layer, the second area partially overlapping the first area; and
a removal step of removing a non-exposed region of the color material layer after the first transfer step and the second transfer step;

a protection sheet which covers the functional layer region and which defines the second surface;
dividing the intermediate region and the flexible substrate region of the synthetic resin film from each other;
irradiating an interface between the synthetic resin film and the glass base with laser light; and
separating the multilayer stack into a first portion and a second portion by increasing a distance from a stage to the glass base while the second surface of the multilayer stack is kept in contact with the stage,
wherein the first portion of the multilayer stack includes the intermediate region of the synthetic resin film and an OLED device which are adhered to the stage, the OLED device including the functional layer region and the flexible substrate region of the synthetic resin film, and the second portion of the multilayer stack includes the glass base, and
the method further comprises removing the intermediate region of the synthetic resin film adhered to the stage from the stage while the OLED device is kept adhered to the stage.

irradiating the interface between the plurality of flexible substrate regions of the synthetic resin film and the glass base with the laser light includes
first laser light scanning for scanning the interface in a first direction parallel to the interface with the laser light in the form of a line beam which is transverse to the first direction, and
second laser light scanning for scanning the interface in a second direction which is parallel to the interface and different from the first direction with the laser light in the form of a line beam which is transverse to the second direction, and
in each of the first and second laser light scanning, an irradiation intensity of the laser light is modulated such that an irradiation intensity of the laser light for at least part of an interface between the intermediate region of the synthetic resin film and the glass base is lower than an irradiation intensity of the laser light for the interface between the plurality of flexible substrate regions of the synthetic resin film and the glass base.
