applying a second composition comprising a second component of a multi-part sealant externally to the lung at locations where the indicator has accumulated, and
allowing the first component and the second component of the multi-part sealant to cure with one another to form a pleural sealant.

a break-up insert distal end, further defining at least three fluted channels and a central, recessed swirl chamber and
a sidewall extending between the break-up insert proximal end and the break-up insert distal end,
wherein the sidewall of the break-up insert and the sidewall of the nozzle housing define a channel therebetween extending around the periphery of the break-up insert for fluid communication between the at least two lumen and the at least three fluted channels, wherein the distance between the sidewall of the break-up insert and the nozzle housing sidewall decreases in a direction from a proximal end to a distal end of the break-up insert; and
a baffle extending from the proximal end of the break up insert, said baffle including a central inner wall preventing fluid passage therethrough and an interrupted outer wall along a length thereof, the interrupted outer wall and the sidewall of the nozzle housing cooperating to form at least two channels configured to maintain each pre-cursor fluid separate from each other as they approach the breakup insert.

a single actuator coupled to each barrel such that application of an application pressure P(A) causes each component to flow
simultaneously from each reservoir, respectively, to the interior channels and the outlet path;

a purge assembly comprising a source of liquid flushing agent, under a constant pressure P(P), fluidly coupled to the applicator's
outlet path via a purge path to convey liquid flushing agent into the applicator; and

one or more pressure-sensitive valve assemblies operatively coupled to selectively close the purge path when the application
pressure P(A) applied via the actuator is greater than the constant pressure P(P) of the source of the liquid flushing agent.

1. A portable pneumatic aerosol device for delivering a multi-component sealing compound, the device comprising:a housing;
at least two independent component containing reservoirs, wherein each independent component containing reservoir includes a moveable plunger;
a pneumatic device including a pneumatic cylinder and a movable rod that is operatively coupled to each plunger;
a mixing head having a plurality of inlets and an outlet, each of the inlets connected to one of the reservoirs, the mixing head providing a mixing area for the at least two independent components to form the multi-component sealing compound;
an aerosol pressure regulator fluidly connected to the mixing head;
a pneumatic pressure regulator fluidly connected to the pneumatic device and the aerosol pressure regulator; and
a pressurized gas cartridge fluidly connected to the mixing head through the aerosol pressure regulator, the pressurized gas cartridge fluidly connected to the pneumatic device through the aerosol pressure regulator and the pneumatic pressure regulator, wherein the pressurized gas cartridge is selectively actuable to pressurize the pneumatic device to drive the movable rod of the pneumatic cylinder to move each operatively coupled plunger in the at least two independent component containing reservoirs to force the independent components from the at least two independent component containing reservoirs through the plurality of inlets and into the mixing head, and wherein the pressurized gas cartridge is selectively actuable to force gas directly into the mixing head upstream of the mixing area to force the multi-component sealing compound through the mixing head outlet,
wherein each of the reservoirs, the aerosol pressure regulator, the pneumatic pressure regulator, and the pressurized gas cartridge is at least partially located within the housing.
