a first support bracket for attachment to the roof;

to a ridge of a roof and to a top surface of the roof, at least one of said plurality of perforated support spacers includes
a first spacer portion and a second spacer portion, a common bottom flange joins said first and second spacer portions;

a perforated support for attachment to a top of said first and second support brackets and said plurality of perforated support
spacers, said perforated support including a plurality of openings;

a plurality of cover spacers each includes a cover planar surface, said cover planar surface is perpendicular to a ridge of
a roof and to a top surface of the roof, at least one of said plurality of cover spacers includes a first cover spacer portion
and a second cover spacer portion, a common bottom flange joins said first and second cover spacer portions;

a ridge cover is engaged with said perforated support, said plurality of cover spacers are retained between said perforated
support and said ridge cover, said plurality of cover spacers support said ridge cover.

a first water dam and a second water dam are attached to a hip roof;
a plurality of lower intermittent spacers, at least one of said plurality of lower intermittent spacers includes a first lower
leg portion and a second lower leg portion, one end of said first lower leg portion is retained on one end of said second
lower leg portion, said first and second water dams are retained under said plurality of lower intermittent spacers;

a pitched perforated support member is placed on top of said plurality of lower intermittent spacers, said pitched perforated
support member includes a perforated plate, a bend is formed in a middle of said perforated plate to match a pitch of the
hip roof;

a plurality of upper intermittent spacers, at least one of said plurality of upper intermittent spacers includes a first upper
leg portion and a second upper leg portion, one end of said first upper leg portion is retained on one end of said second
upper leg portion, said plurality of upper intermittent spacers are attached to said plurality of lower intermittent spacers;
and

a plurality of hip covers are attached to said pitched perforated support member.

1. A method of inserting an expansion joint between a first gutter section and a second gutter section, comprising the steps of:providing a first metal sheet having a thermoplastic polyolefin coating applied to a first side thereof;
providing a second metal sheet having a thermoplastic polyolefin coating applied to a first side thereof;
providing a roof membrane strip fabricated from a thermoplastic polyolefin material;
overlapping said first metal sheet on said first side with a first portion of said roof membrane strip, overlapping said second metal sheet on said first side with a second portion of said roof membrane strip;
heating a junction of said first metal sheet and said roof membrane strip, such that a bond is formed between said first metal sheet and said roof membrane strip; and
heating a junction of said second metal sheet and said roof membrane strip, such that a bond is formed between said second metal sheet and said roof membrane strip to form a gutter expansion joint
inserting a first end of the gutter expansion joint into an inner perimeter of the first gutter section, inserting a second end of said gutter expansion joint into the second gutter second.

a water dam includes an angled portion, a base portion and a vertical portion, said vertical portion extends downward from one end of said base portion, said angled portion extends upward at an acute angle from an opposing end of said base portion; and
an S-clip retains said vertical member and said vertical portion, wherein said lengthwise base member of said anchor bar is attached to said vertical member of said roof edge bracket.

roof trim is capable of being attached to said upper portion, said base member is attached to a top of the wall or the nailer, wherein at least one layer of insulation is placed over said base member, the at least one layer of insulation extends outward past an outer surface of the wall or the nailer.

A roof edge bracket extender for extending insulation over a top of a wall of a building, said roof edge mounting bracket extender is attached to the wall or a nailer, comprising:a roof edge bracket includes a roof edge mounting bracket and an extender projection, said roof edge mounting bracket includes a base member and a vertical attachment flange, said base member extends from said vertical attachment flange, said extender projection extends upward from a top of said base member, a lengthwise notch is formed on an inner surface of said extender projection; and
an extender plate includes an outer leg and an inner leg formed on a bottom of said extender plate, a flange pocket is formed between said inner leg and said outer leg, said flange pocket is sized to receive said vertical attachment flange, a leg pocket is formed between said extender projection and said vertical attachment flange to receive said inner leg, a snap projection is formed on an outer surface of said inner leg, wherein said vertical attachment flange is inserted into said flange pocket, said inner leg is inserted into said leg pocket and retained in place when the snap projection engages said lengthwise notch.
