sending a manual movement signal to the control system in response to sensing that the motor is urged at a speed greater than
a threshold design speed.

wherein the release lever mechanism includes a double pull lever moveable between an inoperative position in which the double pull lever is disengaged from the release arm upon said pull the first time and an operative position in which the double pull lever directly engages the pawl via the release arm upon said another pull, and when the pawl is driven from the primary locking position to the secondary locking position by the release lever mechanism the double pull lever is in the inoperative position and inhibited by the release arm from moving to the operative position, and when the pawl is in the secondary locking position movement of the release lever mechanism the second time towards the actuated position of the release lever brings the double pull lever to the operative position, wherein the release lever returns to the home position between said pull and said another pull.

a locking mechanism including an inside release lever pivotally mounted to said housing and a release link, said inside release lever operatively connected to an inside door handle and moveable between a Rest position and a Released position in response to movement of the inside door handle, said release link coupled to said inside release lever and moveable relative to said inside release lever between an Unlock position and a Lock position in response to actuation of an operating mechanism, wherein movement of said inside release lever between its Rest position and its Released position causes movement of said release link between a Retracted position and an Extended position relative to said pawl lever, and wherein said release link is operable to selectively engage said pawl lever and move said pawl from its ratchet hold position toward its ratchet release position when said release link is positioned in its Unlock position and movement of said inside release lever from its Rest position into its Released position causes said release link to move from its Retracted position into its Extended position.

receives, from the sensor control unit, the indication of the selection of the particular image, the particular image corresponding to a particular control module among the plurality of images; and
responsive to receipt of the selection of the particular image, transmits an instruction to the vehicle body control module to, thereby, cause an instruction to be transmitted, by the vehicle body control module, to the particular control module.

a telescoping unit operably connected to the other of the closure member or the body of the vehicle, said telescoping unit having an extensible tube at least partially received in said cavity through said second end of said housing and having a drive nut for converting rotary motion of said leadscrew into linear motion of said telescoping unit to move said telescoping unit between a retracted position relative to said housing and an extended position relative to said housing;
said electromechanical brake assembly being selectively moveable between an engaged state and a disengaged state, said motor shaft and said leadscrew being prevented from rotating when said electromechanical brake assembly is in said engaged state to prevent relative axial movement between said power drive unit and said telescoping unit, said motor shaft and said leadscrew being permitted to rotate when said electromechanical brake assembly is in said disengaged state to allow relative axial movement between said power drive unit and said telescoping unit; and
feedback sensors configured to sense movement along said electromechanical strut, and an electronic control unit electrically connected to said feedback sensors and configured to move said electromechanical brake to said disengaged state when said feedback sensors sense movement.
