1. A method for fingerprint classification, comprising the steps of:
scanning a fingerprint to generate a fingerprint image, FP, having a horizontal resolution of M pixels and a vertical resolution
of N pixels;

generating a set of responses for each (i,j)-th pixel of the fingerprint image FP, Gk(i,j), where 1?i?M and 1?j?N, by convolving the fingerprint image FP with a set of filters, G?k, for k=1, . . . , 8, such that Gk(i,j)=FP*G?k over k=1, . . . , 8, wherein G?k=Gx cos ?k+Gy sin ?k, where

for k=1, . . . , 8, and Gx and Gy are, respectively, horizontal and vertical Gaussian derivative filters respectively given by
where ? is a parameter representative of width of a Gaussian function;
thresholding each response Gk(i,j) such that, for each (i,j)-th pixel, if a value of the respective response Gk(i,j) is greater than zero, then a corresponding thresholded value, sk, is equal to one, and if the value of the respective response Gk(i,j) is less than or equal to zero, then the corresponding thresholded value, sk, is equal to zero;

generating a local gradient directional binary pattern code by forming a binary number from the values of sk over k=1, . . . , 8 as s1 s2 s3 s4 s5 s6 s7 s8;

generating a local gradient directional binary pattern code for each (i,j)-th pixel;
computing a distribution of the local gradient directional binary pattern codes for all said pixels in the fingerprint image
FP as a histogram and forms descriptor; and

using the histogram and forms descriptor and a neural network to reduce substantially a search space to a predefined number
of classes of fingerprints to be searched in order to identify the scanned fingerprint.

fermenting the camel milk at a temperature of 40° C. for 10 hours;

storing the fermented camel milk at a temperature of 10° C. for 14 hours; and
further storing the fermented camel milk in a refrigerator at a temperature of 4° C. for between 1 and 15 days.

washing the bleached Bassia eriophora, wherein the washing is done until a neutral pH is achieved;

drying the bleached Bassia eriophora at a temperature of approximately 50° C. for approximately eight hours to obtain cellulose;

hydrolyzing the cellulose with 50% sulfuric acid at a temperature of approximately 45° C. for approximately 30 minutes under
stirring to produce acid hydrolyzed cellulose;

diluting the acid hydrolyzed cellulose with water to produce an aqueous cellulose solution;
centrifuging the aqueous cellulose solution to produce cellulose residue, wherein centrifuging the aqueous cellulose solution
is at 5,000 RPM for approximately 10 minutes; and

ultrasonicating the cellulose residue to produce cellulose nanofibrils, wherein the ultrasonicating is for 20 minutes to produce
the nanofibrils having a diameter of 10-30 nm and a length of 3-5 ?m.

1. An orthodontic hand instrument configured for making distal cinch back bends on dental arch wires, comprising:
a handle portion having a first end and an opposing second end;
a first shaft extending from the first end of the handle portion, the first shaft having a tapered distal end;
a first stoop extending from the tapered distal end of the first shaft, the first stoop having a bifurcated head portion defining
a rectangularly-shaped gingival head having a length of about 1 mm, a height of about 1 mm and a width of about 2 mm, a rectangularly-shaped
occlusal head having a length of about 1 mm, a height of about 1 mm and a width of about 2 mm overlying and projecting beyond
the gingival head, and a 1 mm vertical slot between the gingival head and the occlusal head, the slot being dimensioned and
configured for engaging an arch wire of a dental appliance;

a second shaft extending from the second end of the handle portion, the second shaft having a tapered distal end; and
a second stoop extending from the tapered distal end of the second shaft, the second stoop having a bifurcated head portion
defining a rectangularly-shaped gingival head having a length of about 1 mm, a height of about 1 mm and a width of about 2
mm, a rectangularly-shaped occlusal head having a length of about 1 mm, a height of about 1 mm and a width of about 2 mm overlying
and projecting beyond the gingival head, and a 1 mm vertical slot between the gingival head and the occlusal head, the slot
being dimensioned and configured for engaging an arch wire of a dental appliance, the second stoop being a mirror image of
the first stoop.

1. A centric relation bite registration tool, comprising:
a vertically adjustable portion; including:
a main body portion having opposed first and second ends, the main body portion further including vertical and horizontal
passages therethrough;

a first base portion, a first engaging peg projecting outwardly from the first base portion and adapted for removable mounting
in a dental implant in a patient's mandibular arch, the first base portion being mounted on the second end of the main body
portion;

a vertically adjustable post, the vertically adjustable post being selectively vertically adjustable with respect to the main
body portion via sliding action through the vertical passage, the vertically adjustable post having a free end and a fixed
end, the fixed end thereof being housed within the main body portion of said vertically adjustable portion, the free end thereof
projecting outwardly from the first end of the main body portion;

a spring-biased button mounted in the horizontal passage in the main body portion, the spring-biased button having a recess
configured and dimensioned to receive the vertically adjustable post therein, the spring-biased button defining a release
for securing the vertically adjustable post at a fixed vertical height with respect to the main body portion of said vertically
adjustable portion; and

a horizontally adjustable portion, including:
a frame having opposed closed and open ends;
a second base portion, a second engaging peg projecting outwardly from the second base portion and adapted for removable mounting
in a dental implant in the patient's maxillary arch, the second base portion being mounted on the closed end of the frame;

a sliding member received within the frame of said horizontally adjustable portion, wherein the sliding member is selectively
horizontally adjustable with respect to the frame, further wherein the sliding member of said horizontally adjustable portion
has opposed free and fixed ends, the fixed end thereof being mounted within the frame, the free end thereof projecting through
a horizontally extending slot formed through the frame;

means for releasably securing the sliding member in a fixed horizontal position with respect to the frame;
a mount secured to a central portion of the sliding member, the mount having a recess defined therein for releasably receiving
the free end of the vertically adjustable post of the vertically adjustable portion, wherein the free end of the vertically
adjustable post engages the mount through the open end of the frame.
