where automatically negotiating the settings comprises, for each of the plurality of output zones configured by the user,

measuring latencies of signal data paths through the network between the transmitting and receiving AV devices of at least

matching a latency of the receiving AV devices and corresponding respective signal data paths that serve the two or more output
