1. A topper member for use with a medical bed, the topper member comprising:
an enclosure defining at least one fluidly-distinct interior chamber and having substantially fluid impermeable upper and
lower layers; said upper layer comprising a plurality of openings through which fluid from the at least one fluidly-distinct
interior chamber can exit; said upper and lower layers attached along at least a part of a periphery of the topper member
to form a periphery fluid boundary along the at least a part of the periphery of the topper member;

at least one securement device for at least temporarily securing the topper member to a medical bed;
at least one spacer material positioned within the at least one fluidly-distinct interior chamber, said at least one spacer
material configured to maintain a desired separation between the upper and lower layers and to help distribute fluid within
the at least one fluidly-distinct interior chamber;

at least one fluid module comprising a fluid transfer device;
a conduit placing an outlet of the at least one fluid module in fluid communication with the at least one fluidly-distinct
interior chamber;

wherein the fluid module selectively delivers fluids to the at least one fluidly-distinct interior chamber through the conduit;
wherein fluids entering the at least one fluidly-distinct interior chamber are generally distributed within said at least
one fluidly-distinct interior chamber by the at least one spacer material before exiting through the plurality of openings
along the upper layer;

wherein the upper and lower layers are attached to each other at least partially away from the periphery of the topper member
to form at least one internal fluid boundary at a location where the upper and lower layers are attached, wherein the at least
one internal fluid boundary is at least partially spaced apart from the periphery fluid boundary of the periphery of the topper
member; and

wherein the at least one internal fluid boundary at least partially defines at least one non-fluid zone adjacent the at least
one fluidly-distinct interior chamber, the at least one non-fluid zone comprising at least one fluid impermeable member, wherein
said at least one fluid impermeable member is configured to generally prevent fluid flow through the at least one non-fluid
zone.

1. A climate controlled assembly, comprising:a support member having a support surface configured to support an occupant;
a blower configured to draw air adjacent the support surface of the support member;
a thermoelectric device disposed on the support member and including a main side and a waste side, the main side configured to provide heating or cooling to the support surface;
a heat exchanger conductively coupled to the waste side of the thermoelectric device; and
a conductive member conductively coupled to the main side of the thermoelectric device, at least a portion of the conductive member extending along the support surface of the support member, wherein
during operation, the blower draws air adjacent the support surface at the same time the thermoelectric device cools the conductive member.
