1. An electrical connector comprising:an insulative housing dimensioned and configured for receiving an electronic package therein and mounting to a printed circuit board;
a metallic stiffener at least partially surrounding the housing and defining a first pivot section at a rear end and a second pivot section at a front end opposite to each other in a front-to-back direction;
a first lever including a first pivot pivotally mounted upon the first pivot section, and a first handle moveable in a first vertical plane between a first open position and a first closed position, an offset section formed on the first pivot of the first lever;
a second lever including a second pivot pivotally mounted upon the second pivot section, and a second handle moveable in a second vertical plane between a second open position and a second closed position; and
a load plate pivotally mounted upon the offset section and moveable between an open position and a closed position; wherein
the first pivot section forms at least an upstanding stopper restricting both the load plate and the first lever from excessively rearwardly/outwardly moving while allowing more than ninety degrees rotation of the load plate between the open position and the closed position, as well as of the first lever between the first open position and the first closed position, thus assuring loading/unloading the electronic package with regard to the housing without interference against either the load plate and the first lever.

a metallic shielding unit including:
a one piece primary shell being of a frame structure and forming a top wall covering the top surface, a lower wall covering a bottom surface, a pair of side walls covering the pair of side surfaces; and
a one piece Z-shaped secondary shell forming a vertical first section covering the rearward surface, a horizontal second section extending from an upper edge of the first section to cover the middle surface, and further an addition section extending from a lower edge of the first section to be located below and welded to the lower wall so as to prevent any EMI (Electro-Magnetic Interference) leakage, in the front-to-back direction, between the primary shell and the secondary shell around a corner between the bottom surface and the rearward surface of the housing.

the CPU is assembled to the retaining clip along the front-to-back direction by the pair of retaining arms receivably moving along the pair of sliding grooves, respectively, and after assembled, the base plate is received in the receiving space and the central protrusion extends upwardly through the center opening and above the top wall.

wherein each of the partitions includes a main body and a protrusion extending beyond the main body on the loading face, and said protrusion forms a recess in one of opposite side faces thereof adjacent to the loading face for receiving burrs due to molding, so as to allow a sealing plate intimately attached upon the loading face with minor gaps in the vertical direction;
wherein a pair of guiding chamfers are formed on the protrusion of each partition;
wherein the recess is located beside the pair of chamfers in the transverse direction and communicates with one of the pair of chamfers in the transverse direction;
where a pair of guiding chambers are formed on the main body of each partition; and
wherein the protrusion of each partition is divided into plural segment in the longitudinal direction.

the connector includes a metal cage, the metal cage covers the connector and is bent inward to form a grounding leg, and the grounding leg is overlapped with the metal shielding plate; wherein
the metal cage includes a first member closed in a ring shape and a second member covering the top side and the left and right sides of the first member cable, the first member covers the insulative housing, the left and right sides of the second member extend outward to form a fixed wing, the fixed wing defines a circular fixing hole and a non-circular hole arranged along the front and rear direction, and the fixing hole fixes the connector to an outer casing.

the grounding portion of the lug is soldered to the metal housing; wherein
the lug comprises a metal layer disposed on a side of the lug that is perpendicular to the grounding portion, after the lug being soldered to the metal housing, the metal layer and the solder in the soldering area seal a gap between the lug and the metal housing.

a pair of grounding bars each including a base extending along a transverse direction and soldered to the outer conductors of one row of wires, a pair of vertically extending securing legs at two opposite ends in the transverse direction, and a plurality of spring tags mechanically and electrically connected to the inner conductors of the grounding wires; wherein
the pair of securing legs are electrically and mechanically fixedly connected to interior surfaces of the pair of side plates, respectively.
