ASSOCIATED DEVICE DISCOVERY IN IMS NETWORKS

AYLUS NETWORKS, INC., We...

1. A method for a mobile device to act as a switch between a cellular network and a Personal Area Network (PAN) proximate
to the mobile device, the method comprising:
the mobile device,
sensing a plurality of devices proximate to the mobile device;
creating the PAN for the plurality of devices proximate to the mobile device using a local network;
creating a cellular network session;
using both the local network and the cellular network session, to provide a gateway between the cellular network and the plurality
of devices in the PAN; and

controlling the PAN for the plurality of devices,
wherein, during the cellular network session, the mobile device is the only device visible to or directly addressable by the
cellular network, and the plurality of devices access the cellular network through the mobile device while the mobile device
simultaneously maintains a voice call over a circuit switched network with which the mobile device communicates without use
of any of the plurality of device as an intervening devices, wherein the mobile device invites a Media server (MS) or an Application
server (AS) into the session.

1. A method for a mobile device to act as a switch, the method comprising:a first mobile device,
creating a first data session between the first mobile device and a data network;
establishing a Personalized Area Network (PAN);
allowing one or more proximate devices to discover and register in the PAN;
creating one or more PAN sessions between one or more proximate registered devices and the PAN;
wherein, while the first data and PAN sessions are in progress, the first mobile device receives or makes circuit-switched voice calls utilizing a circuit-switched cellular network without disrupting the first session or PAN session.

SYSTEMS AND METHOD FOR ENABLING IP SIGNALING IN WIRELESS NETWORKS

Aylus Networks, Inc., We...

1. A method of receiving an IP-based message from an initiator via a packet-switched (PS) network capable of communicating
IP-based messages, a circuit-switched (CS) network capable of communicating non-IP-based messages, and a serving node in communication
with the PS network and the CS network, the method comprising:
receiving a trigger message from the serving node over the CS network, the trigger message comprising a non-IP-based message
that includes instructions for the receiver to initiate a connection to the PS network and instructions for the receiver to
obtain an IP-based message from the serving node, the IP-based message being sent by the initiator and intended for receipt
by the receiver;

sending a request from the receiver for initiating a connection to the PS network;
responsive to the trigger message, pulling the IP-based message from the serving node via the PS network after initiating
the connection to the PS network.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REAL-TIME CELLULAR-TO-INTERNET VIDEO TRANSFER

AYLUS NETWORKS, INC., We...

1. A method for supporting combinational services to a recipient handset from an initiator handset using a portal on a Serving
Node (SN) as a proxy for the recipient handset for delivering packet services on a packet switched (PS) network during a voice
call between the initiator handset and the recipient handset, when the recipient handset is incapable of supporting combinational
services, the method comprising:
communicating with the initiator handset and the recipient handset;
exchanging information comprising connectivity options between the initiator handset andthe recipient handset;
initiating a voice call between the recipient handset and the initiator handset over a circuit switch (CS) network;
determining that the recipient handset cannot support combinational services;
receiving a request to initiate combinational services from personal agent (P A) logic storedin memory of the initiator handset, the combinational services request comprising a request for a packet service via the PS
network;
configuring the portal on the SN for delivery of the packet service to the recipient handset;migrating the voice call to a packet session on the PS network; and
adding the packet service to the packet session on the PS network,
wherein, while a call or session is in progress, and without disconnecting the voice call or session, the SN provides combinational
services to the recipient handset through a connection between the initiator handset and only one of the CS network and PS
network at any given time; and

delivering a real-time or near real-time audio stream concurrently with a video stream, wherein the audio stream is not part
of the video stream.

controlling the PAN for the one or more devices,
wherein, during the cellular network session, the mobile device is the only device visible to or directly addressable by the cellular network, and the one or more devices access the cellular network through the mobile device while the mobile device is configured to simultaneously maintain a voice call over a circuit switched network with which the mobile device communicates without use of any of the one or more devices as an intervening device, wherein the mobile device is configured to invite a Media server (MS) or an Application server (AS) into the session.
